Bhutan has captured your imagination. Use our website and other information sources to make a list of all the possible ideas, potential highlights, areas of interest and experiences that you would like to include in your visit.
Step 2: Visit dates
Based on your ideas about what you would like to experience check if these are restricted in anyway by the time of year and seasons. This is especially important if some of your key interests are either trekking or festivals. See our trekking timetable and the festival timetable for timeframes.
Step 3: Email Bhutan Trails your dates and ideas
Fill out an email with your ideas, activities, areas of interest, and the range of possible dates for your visits, and email the form to us at bhutantrails@druknet.bt Based on this information we will begin to design a basic itinerary that matches what you are interested in - with your proposed dates of travel. We will also research any other possible activities that we could suggest to you that we may think may stir your imagination.
Step 4: Decide on a basic itinerary for your visit
We will email back our suggestions and start working with you to find out what the best arrangements are going to be that will fulfill your travel needs. After we have finished working with you on the draft itinerary, and you are happy with the draft itinerary, email a final version of the itinerary back to us and we will provide you with a cost, dates, flights for the trip, and a secure bank account number for which to deposit the trip payment.
Once this transaction is completed we will book your flights on Druk Air, apply for your tourist visas and based on your basic itinerary arrange permits, accommodation and food for your stay.
Step 5: Get Ready to come
We will email you a checklist with items you may find useful, and be on hand to answer any last minute questions. Your free to contact us for any information at anytime.
Step 6: Arrive!!
Depart for Bhutan on Druk Air and you will be met in Bhutan at Paro International Airport by our representative for the realization of your dream!
